Unless you're directing visitors to your site through very targeted 'opt-in'
emailings (like we're going to talk about on this Thursday's conference call),
you're probably spending a fortune on banner ads, pay-per-search advertising, or
ezine advertising.
The 'turn-key' website idea: the idea that you, #1. You get a website, #2.
You advertise it, and #3. Make a million dollars ... is malarkey! So don't fall
for it! :)
Smart marketers (like you & me) realize that it's not 'cost-per-view', or
'cost-per-impression' ... that gets us *results* ... it's your
'Revenue-Per-Visitor' or 'RPV' that we need to improve!
What's your 'Revenue-Per-Visitor'?
Do you create income streams every time a visitor comes to your website? You
can! Start by learning as much as you can about 'email marketing', ... dive into
it! (Getting on this Thursday's conference call could be your first step.)
Start capturing the email addresses of *as many* of your visitors as you can
... use services like www.aweber.com or www.getresponse.com to help build your
own email list ... and then you can start advertising!!
Lesson #1: Don't put the 'advertising cart' before the 'email horse'. Do your
homework before jumping into any online-advertising program!!
