Commitment to Life by Ed Hirsch
You and I have been given a great deal ... better than most people in the
world.
We have been provided with an awesome gift called Free Will, defined as
voluntary choice or decision, or freedom of humans to make choices that are not
determined by prior causes or by divine intervention. Free Will is definitely a
conscious effort.
If each and everyone of us would only acknowledge and realize our weaknesses
(and we all have them), this is the beginning to the blossoming process of
change necessary to give your life completeness in the sense of becoming all
that you are capable of becoming.
Without knowing exactly, or as close as possible, to what you want your life
to look like, be like, feel like, and be in the present here and now, you do not
have a chance to
live the life you only now dream of. It is getting that clarity in your
thinking, getting your *mind around*, embracing, even falling in love with that
future that does not exist for you today, which initiates (sets on fire) the
real world mechanism called goal-achievement or making your dream real.
My personal Free Will (decision) was made about 12 years ago now while
transitioning from military to business owner status ... and the moment of truth
for me was making the commitment to go for my dreams, acknowledging and
realizing the price which would need to be paid at that moment and from then on
in my life till I die. My weakness was that I had a lazy tired mind and the cost
for my dreams would be discipline whereas my mind would need to be thinking all
the time. This was a real and conscious decision and I have never looked back
since that day, nor regretted that decision.
Two of the very best pieces of literature I am immersed in presently in what
I call my Dream Work are based on clarifying the vision necessary to convert
your NOW to your
Dream. *Living with Passion* by former attorney Peter Hirsch (no relation)
and *Mach II With Your Hair On Fire* by
Richard Brooke are outstanding for Network Marketers. I downloaded them for
free a while back from www.greatestnetworker.com It wouldn't hurt to hang around
there and www.jimrohn.com because they give away for free some awesome reading
(complete books!)
For me so far, these are the most clearly written books that help the
individual looking for dream achievement to learn from the best.
This is what I call leveraging your brains before you leverage your money.
Since everyone is on the Internet, it can get confusing as one becomes lost
in the new ways of *selling* online. The real power to success is not the
Internet technology
itself, but the human mind, and your willingness to do whatever it takes to
make life more meaningful in the big picture of things.
What do you want?
When do you want it?
Why do you want it?
How will you get it?
Who must you become to make it happen?
These are just the basics.
If you haven't gotten through this in detail, this is a good place to begin
as you forge your future. *Forge* in this case, I am defining as to move forward
slowly and steadily
